Oilers accept if I am GM. Right shot 3rd line center is what we need

Why would the jets do this at the TDL? Pool party is useless for this year and Vatanen isnt worth that much

Why are we trading away Roslovic for a guy who can’t play in the NHL this year? Like if we’re going for the playoffs (don’t think we are imo), then this makes no sense.

I’d trade a second + prospect for Vatanen, but not Gustafsson.

These trades both suck for the Jets.

These trades make little sense for the Jets. (Roslovic for the rights to dick around with Puljujarvi seems particularly odd.) You'll have difficulty making the playoffs so it's unlikely you'll be renting Vatanen or anyone else, and the only guys you have that might realistically move are Copp and Little (due either to the fact that you don't want to move others or that others have NMCs or NTCs). I think that you'll be pretty quiet at the deadline unless you can acquire some better draft picks.

2 massive overpays for the Jets. Neither deal makes sense.

Possibly some depth dman to contenders for some picks possibly, I’m hoping for a hockey trade with another playoff missing team for a rhd with some term worth protecting along with pionk, and morrissey. But probably wrong time of year for such a deal.

Yeah, that deal will have to wait for the off-season because everyone including the potential sellers knows that Anaheim, Las Vegas and Toronto in particular will be looking eagerly for RhD and you'll be competing with them.

I think it could be kind of a blessing in disguise season for the jets, getting some kids some big minutes and hopefully move up in lottery and nail a 2c or rhd in draft that possibly gets in 9 games and ready to go full time at 19. Step back to take two steps forward, but we will see.

It will be interesting to see if Braden Schneider or Justin Barron are still available in the bottom third of the lottery losers.

Roslovic is not going to make or break the jets playoff hopes. When everyone is healthy he would be 3rd or 4th line winger. He has been given every opportunity to produce this year and hasn't. He is the kind of guy Edmonton is in need of, and will be looking to trade for at the deadline. Why not get Pulj in the Mix, sign him for next season and have him play with Laine who he played great with in the world juniors. In the mean time If the team still wants to make a playoff push their forward group is good enough to do so without Roslovic, the just need some help on D, hence the Vat trade.
