Well I disagree. These moves help out on all three things TOR have some weaknesses in...
1) RHDs. Dumba is by far the best RHD in this team, despite having a rough season.
2) Goalies. Saros works now as a 2nd goalie, and if Andersen walks in year or two, he should be able to take the 1G spot. Also if necessary he can be a piece to ship to Seattle if they decide to re-sign Andersen.
3) Depth. Brown is extremely good depth asset, as you should know.

Based off xG dumba hasn't been good for a few seasons in either end. That's a huge overpayment for him, kappy, ceci and a 2nd is way to much. Andersen probably wont be resigned and all these trades are the leafs giving up way too much

Dumba was in pace for 30 goals+ last year before his injury. Kappy+Ceci+2nd would be a laughable offer, even for a Leafs fan...

As for the other moves, it's subjective to discuss about value as we seem to value assets differently, however I'd say that proven NHL players have more value than AHL prospects...

Points for defenseman dont matter. He isnt good defensively and hes not that great offensively. Especially since hes been so bad this year giving up kappy 1 for 1 is a bad idea

Well if it's an offensive d-man, he lives by the points. Just look at TOR...almost all of their D are offensive. Dumba should be able to thrive in such an environment.

And point shots are some of the worst you can take. If he was doing well in other areas I wouldn't be unhappy with him but he isnt. Hes pretty much Barrie 2.0 except he has a made up reputation of being good defensively

The ones we have plenty already......Rielly and Barrie as two-way wingers playing D......for the setup of D like that you need 12 Forwards to play two way also, orelse Games end like those last did......

Keefes honeymoon is over.....few Teams were caught by surprise with his new system, few were to bad to respond and now there is enough footage in Coaches Room all over the League to monitor the system TML are playing at the moment.....on the top of that December schedule was comfortable, check February and try to imagine how those give-aways by D will result next.

As much as TML fans are in denial, Defensive Ds are the answer and "Keefes wizardy" should be adapted to include one of them in each of the rushing first two Lines / Pairs....

Unfortunately I’ve looked into it and dumba is bad... really bad. Spurgeon is by far their best rhd.

Rather have the Liljegren and Kapanen at 4.1m, and the pick total than one Dumba at 6m, next year Even Ceci despite all the silliness on this site is OK, and Kapanen is probably better than having just Dumba this season.

Ive read alot of dumb leaf fans coments before but you might be the biggest mother ****ing homer i have ever seen. you probably think you can get mcdavid for future considerations and still be under the cap. Dumb ****. dumba would be arguably the leafs best dman with Reilly

Lmao take off the blinders and look at his stats. He isnt particularly good in either end. I'm sorry I offended you with the facts

Micah blake Mccurdy has some fantastic stuff on expected goals. His heat maps are great tools

You said he was on pace for 30 and the response was that he’s not even good offensively. You should have stopped trying to convince this guy right there. Has obviously only seen Dumba play a few games against the Leafs.
