Leafs literally need none of the players you have traded for.

Los Angeles has no interest in UFA Cody Ceci or trading up half a round, and we have better prospects in the system than Bracco or Lindgren (including the one we got from you), so we can get a much better return for our back-up goalie than this (we're keeping Clifford).

Doesnt help Buffalo, Sabres need RWers or a 2C. Value wise, its close but still favors TML, but just doesnt do anything to help Buffalo

a #1 RHD (like Montour) is going to cost a lot more than Miller. Toronto is probably not going to trade for someone like that, and probably couldnt afford it anyway

Montour isnt good. Take a look at his heat map and play driving skills. He isnt good offensively or defensively. Brutal on special teams and not good transitionaly. Hes pretty bad

Not at all. I would take Miller over him anyday of the week. Sabers fans on here think Montour is baby jesus. Montour is worse defensively then ceci and they are both pretty bad offensively, ceci may be better tho

Clifford and Campbell would be good adds actually. But I agree on the Buffalo trade that none of them are useful

If you don’t trade Johnsson and Moore how do you fit Clifford? I’m indifferent to Campbell.

You make the deal with LA already with the idea of moving Johnsson for a d-man to help out

Leafs couldn’t afford montour? Man I wish we had good players like buffalo lol.

My point is leafs would need an rhd that can handle top pair minutes. Miller gives us another bottom 4.

I meant cap wise, but you do realize the Leafs and Sabres are right next to each other and only 6 points apart? And the Sabres haven't blown half their cap on 4 players?

But I bet you wish you did have 4 players to blow half the cap on.

Neither point you made makes any difference. If a trade made both teams better they would do it. 6 points apart for now.

This is my point, you want to rag on the Sabres but Toronto's inflated roster isnt doing much better. If both teams miss the playoffs, which city will melt down more? Toronto will. And I agree if the trade makes both teams better they would do it. But that means the Sabres arent taking futures and lotto picks for Montour, youd have to make a hockey trade that fulfills a Sabre need as well
