I don't think EDM would trade Nurse, an RFA, for a guy that could walk in the off-season. Just go for Hoffman in July.

Hoffman likely won't waive his NTC for Edmonton anyways. If he turned down an opportunity to go to Winnipeg, he sure as hell wouldn't go to Edmonton

That's probably about what they'd get though. Much as I like him as a player, if someone's offering a 3rd round pick I'd probably take it. He'll be a 30 year old UFA after next season and he plays a pretty physical game. Those types of players don't typically have a long shelf life. Maybe the Wild toss in something else (Seeler?) and it gets bumped up to a 2nd.

I think Foligno is worth a playoff bound team’s 1st. He’s been terrific all season and brings a lot of elements that are more important in the playoffs than during the regular season.

You keep foligno for a first. Well
Take dumba for a first borgstrom and matheson maybe add a third or second in another year

That's where I am with Foligno right now. On paper he's not worth a 1st, but the intangibles he has and what he is to the Wild as a whole it would take an overpay to trade him this season. He's done wonders for JEE's game, and Greenway needs to learn a lot more from him still.
