I don't how you can complain about kovy for Pul.
Pul like a lot of younger guys deserves to get a second chance at it in a new situation. And it's not like it cost you much of anything at all.

Disagree
He's a top Liiga player this year and was a point per game at the Champions Hockey League the IIHF annual Tournament among the top worlds hockey leagues excluding NHL.

its further proven EDM is the problem in the equation . i mean what did he have like 3-4 coaches excluding his 2 AHL coaches in his first 3 years ?

I think JP is gonna be big on the right team but i've always thought for some reason that team would end up being PIT

and whats that got anyone but Mcdavid ?

your arguments sound solid in your head im sure but say them out loud and truly listen to what you're saying .
you're making excuses based on other peoples skill being the key to any player having loads of success

It must be why Lucic's an All Star this year with a cool 75 points at the break right ?
o wait that would be fantasy

Or Erberle ,Hall, frig even Larson like wtf is he doing ?

Mcdavid isnt Wayne Gretzky i'm sorry he's not
Wayne had guys who could barely skate with 30+ points just for touching the puck in the Neutral Zone and taking the hit

Mcdavid can carry exactly 1 other person , that's is
look every season at his 2 regular wingers and usually there's 2/3 with amazing numbers and then someone with half their total

That is a really bad argument.
Some systems don't work for some guys. That's just the way it is. They need to find fits that match to really shine.
There are all kinds of players in the league like that. They go to a team and they just aren't a match. But given a different opportunity in a different system with different coaches and you get a different results.
That's why teams make hockey trades. No one is saying it is guaranteed success, but you aren't giving anything up really.
The Oilers are a team that plays N/S hockey. That's what you do when you have fast players. You make teams skate to keep up with you.
That really isn't Pul's game. He plays a lot of E/W hockey on larger ice. And while that doesn't transition well to the NHL, you can find guys who can grow into it playing more of a cycle system that is defensively responsible.
MTL really isn't a N/S team. So it's a possibility he could fit in a club like that. With his size and skill set maybe he turns it around.
But to say he can't play with McDavid so he sucks is such a bad argument. There are many players who can't play with McDavid.
