Not going to happen. You're not getting a 1st for Burns with that contract. Couture might fetch a 1st, but not in a trade with Buffalo. NYI and CAR decline. Maybe you can get the 1st from the Avs but that's it

New title, sharks try to rip off multiple teams in trades. This is awful.

And the funny part is he even throws in a self-rip off at the end just to balance things a little. The Sharks would be utter idiots to make the Carolina trade.

Lol Lebanc is good but not worth a 1st or Wahlstrom alone, let alone both. The other ones are pretty bad too

I suppose the other teams want to absorb all this cap...especially in future years. And player just waive their NTC, MNCs.

Hey just so you know all of those players on UFA contracts have 0 value. Other teams know not to pay 6 guys into age 37.

These next few years will be very painful.

Every one of these trades is based on reality in terms of a player willing to list the city as one of the teams not in their limited NTC.

If Burns agrees to a trade, it's for Dallas where he has his home and ranch and spends his time in the offseason. They'd also be looking to win now and he gets to reunite with his expert tipper, Pavelski, both of whom have seen a decline without one another.

If Couture waives, it's for BUF since he loves the city and his family live near there. He loves SJ too but also might like it a little less if they go through a major rebuild.

No one else in these trades has a NTC/NMC.

You can debate the price but there's need there for NYI for Labanc and if DW's a decent guy, he sends him to his hometown in New York.

I can tell you it’s 1000% not Wahlstrom and a first
