From a sens fan I agree. We dont need Joseph and Katchouk. One + 1st seems to be the price Pageau is commanding. We could even throw a late pick (4th-7th) going the other way if its Joseph

I don't think it's buyer beware because he's a really good player regardless. He's one of the best 3C's in the game. I think with his production this year, he's shown he's a good 2C, but more importantly, he's one of the best shutdown centres in the league. So even if he's not producing points, he's still shutting down the other teams top players and helping your team a lot.

Not a big fan of plus/minus, but the fact that he's +13 on a team that's -33 should tell you all you need to know.

He's worth a late 1st to a contender. This trade would be an overpayment though, unless he agreed to a very friendly extension beforehand.

Ottawa would take Katchouk/Joseph+1st and run. Unless there's a bidding war, it'll probably be a bit less than that tbh.

Ott would take that in a heart beat, over payment yea maybe. A first he is worth especially with what he can do in the playoffs and he is a big game performer. He would fit well in Tamapa and compliment the current roster. He won’t come for free
