Description

Expecting the wings to get unlucky in the draft lottery, I wouldn't be surprised if they selected Stutzle at 4. Yzerman isn't afraid to take Euro's and considering Seider is from the same development program it wouldn't be a stretch to say Stutzle's the one.

Trading AA at the draft, if Carolinas feeling generous I could see the 2nd ( or third ) plus Honka considering how deep they are defensively.

I don't love brodie but that deal I'd take but I have a feeling it would cost a lot more. Erne doesn't get a raise he shouldn't even get a roster spot. It's early to guess lines but I don't think you'll see velano on a wing and I think even if we end up with 4th and get stutz it's a quality pick. I still think he's going 3rd at this point.

He's a hard worker and I thought he'd produce a little more but with Detroit this season stats really don't give an accurate picture. I'm not sure what happens next season because Smith has been playing well as of late.

Not sure Detroit accepts that trade at the draft. It won't be hard to sign him to a one year deal and see how he does next season.
