To bad Oilers didnt draft their initial pick of Tkachuk. McDavid Drai and Tkachuk is pretty deadly, stupid cloumbus had to draft Luc instead of Poolparty

No slight on Benson but im talking best of the best prospects. Someone with the potential to be as good as Hertl

lol we have no offensive prospects like that. And to be honest, Benson is going to be much better than Mcloud IMO
Benson will probably get the call up to the bigs tonight or tomorrow as well as Benning back from conditioning

Well a trade for Hertl would have to include someone like that or the sharks just arent interested unfortunately.
Copenhagen liked this.

That's nuts. Bryam probably has twice the value of Broberg. Wilson would be popping champagne if he made that deal.

No he wouldnt because it would be stupid. Hertl is 26, on a crazy good contract, could easily score PPG and has some of the best possession numbers in the game. He is insanely underrated, and im glad people who dont see him now get a chance to notice just how good he is.

Hertl is amazing but Byram is the best defensive prospect in the world. A team in rebuild would be insane to not take that deal if offered.

Why wouldn’t they rebuild? 13th in the West and 6th last in the league. Next season might spell the same unfortunately. Sell off assets, trade to gain a first round pick back this season and more picks for next one.

Because they have a ton of veteran players who are not movable and not alot of young players? If we rebuild now it will be 4-5 years before we can compete. SJ will retool in the summer and try to get back into it next year

It should be time for a full on teardown. The best core was Jumbo, Marleau, Nabokov, Clowe, Pavelski and Boyle. The Sharks need a monster in net like Nabokov.
