I don’t think he should go I’m just doing this to see that IF he gets traded, that the value makes sense

Whats with the McAvoy trades? over the summer people were acting as if he was about to become Bobby Orr in his prime.

Some hack writer looking for attention mentioned McAvoy struggling and how the Rangers need d-men. It's just throwing **** against the wall to stir the pot. But it work because there are a ton of idiots doing McAvoy trades now.

The hack Jimmy Murphy, who tends to make ? up, said an unnamed scout said don’t be shocked if he is traded. And the sheep have taken it and ran.

Forget about the Rangers deal, which will be the one everyone will be discussing on this AGM, the other 2 are terrible for B’s. Yeesh. Would not trade either of those assets straight up for JGP and Moore alone is worth a 4th.

Rangers acquired Fox and Trouba instead of McAvoy because McAvoy was not available this offseason. Rangers are no longer interested in McAvoy and might trade DeAngelo because they also have Trouba and Fox at RD.

A Trouba/Kreider package in a major Mac/picks/prospects deal would make more sense for Rangers as it clears cap space. No chance of it happening with Backes on the books and little chance of it happening without him on the books. Would make more sense tho.

I believe it was that Murphy guy, who is a complete hack. His trade posts are as well though out as Larry Brooks, both just constantly eat the trash talking out of their ass.

As a bruins fan like yourself, are you DONE with mcavoy or do you see him as just a young player having a down year?

Obviously being in NYC, we don't get to see the bruins a lot. Based off what i have read in this thread though, the writer who started this rumor doesn't seem to have a ton of credibility.

Growing pains. He’s had a rough year. He’s going nowhere.

Obviously, nobody is untouchable. If the right trade was avaialble....??‍♂️. Highly doubtful tho.

I agree, I think he is just a young player having a down year. He will be fine. I think that would be very stupid of the Bruins to trade Mcavoy right now.

Young RHD puck moving d-men do not grow on trees. Curious to see how the rangers handle Tony D, hopefully they can keep him.

There were a bunch of fans calling for Carlo to go the last 2 years and he’s been their best D man this year. Fans are neither patient or rational. And it’s usually the least knowledgeable that are the loudest. Lol.

They prob look at Deangelo as expendable with Fox there and Keane on the way. Due a sizeable raise and cap tight he may be a casualty depending on how things play out. Be a shame for them. They really need to move King Henry. Sucks but it’s the solution.

I dont even know that I'd called it a down year. I think the expectations are just so high (and for some unrealistic) that anything short of a Norris is a down year in fans eyes

He's made mistakes in his own end, but again hes 22yr old and still developing at a position that takes years before your polished. He's logging big minutes against teams tops lines. As much as I like Chara, he hinders McAvoy's offensive ability because he's so slow getting back.

Currently 66th in pts among d-men, but 38th in ES Pts. He's also 2nd among g B's dmen in pts and 10th on the team. Not bad for what people think is a down year.

Ya i agree with you on that one, he did have high expectations coming into this year and just in general. Just based off of what i see on these threads/social media/ common stats it seemed like he was having a down year.

Like i said, don't watch the bruins a ton. He is a good player and i have no doubt he will prove these "Doubters" wrong.
