he went from playing 3rd pairing minutes to playing on the top pair where he has no business. It's not his fault. It's like putting a 4th line center on the top line and then blaming him for lack of production and railroading him out the league.

No. That is a big upgrade for MTL Poulin is playing really good this season

I agree completely. I don't want to pay 3+ million for a 3rd pairing guy. He's about 1 million over paid. But I also don't want to end up like LA was this year.....forced to sign Hutton with on other options.
