Both teams should just do it so we dont have to see this proposal for the 100th time!!! tears of joy

a pretty much agreed upon trade that both fan bases would feel comfortable doing

Granted he’s only almost 22, but he’s on a 27 pt pace. Is that plus a late 1 a good return?

I think this is fair coming from a Rangers fan. I am sure some Avalanche fans won't want to give up on Jost just yet as well as parting with a first.

Deadline should be interesting but I definitely see COL as a suitor for Kreids.

Not sure if Jost is enough to really move the needle. Also this is not including a resign condition.

1st + Jost + conditional 3rd on resign or SCF makes a little more sense in theory. If you want a salary retention then the 3rd is no longer conditional.

Obviously you dont want to give up on a 21 year old so early in Jost but for Avs to add they need to make a roster spot opening, and right now Jost would be the guy that makes the most sense to swap out.

Sakic and Avs have been interested in Kreider for sometime now, so I seem them very serious bidders for him

If I were COL, I'd suggest some other prospect than Jost. Maybe Kamenev.

As a Rangers fan I'm hoping Boston offers their 2020 1st round pick and Studnicka or maybe Tampa, St. Louis, or a dark horse team, offers their 2020 1st and a better prospect than Jost, but if not I'm happy with this return

Avs have signed Girard to 4.2m raise...so an extension just might not be in their cap plans.

Kreider for Jost straight up. If he then chooses to sign in Colorado, a late first-rounder is reasonable.

look again at their cap structure, they can afford to have one splash in UFA in the 7m ball bark and that still accounts to having space for Landeskog, Makar, and Grubeaur as the next guys up

If he is traded with a 1st round pick, don't be surprised if Rangers fans invent a new dance called the Studnicka.

I know. Im flat out telling you he wont get an extension during the trade process. 27 year old is going to maximize his return at his last likely major payday.
