As much as i would like to add another and more Swedes to the Team, i think Nilsson isnt the answer, would go for Campbell ( LAK out of race ) or DeSmith ( Backup NHL Goalie residing in AHL )

A fringe NHL player and a fringe backup with a mid-pick aren't enough for a solid backup with 1B potential, unfortunately. Would love to have Nilsson though.

I'm also not sure the Ducks give up on Sherwood/take a chance on Bracco, but it's a decent proposal for sure.

As for the Savard trade, I think you might have to end up adding a second or Timashov to get the deal to go through, but it's a good first offer.

Columbus declines. We aren’t moving Savard as long as we are in a position to potentially make the playoffs.... we really have no need for a middle 6 wing right now and would be trading an important piece of our D core.

Also just an FYI Columbus does have more points then Toronto does right now... shocking right. Not saying it’ll last and if Columbus falls out of the playoffs big time by the deadline then we can talk Savard.

LA's it gonna move Campbell when they've been trying to move quick to get rid of his contract. They need Campbell and the price would be too high to get him

Frankly, I'm not inclined to trade Savard unless we're getting that #2C we need back. He's doing too well with Gavrikov. Might be worth investigating next year, but this year? Not so much IMO.
