Greene's contract is done after this season. Zajac at half retention for the remainder of this year plus next is a bargain imo. Strengthens your D this year for a playoff run at no risk and gives you a top pk guy for a deep cup run which all teams need just for a 2nd. I think Lou would make that deal. He has a hard on for Zajac as well

I'd honestly prefer a pick over Galchenyuk rn in that pens trade. If the guy hasn't figured it out by now, what are the chances it all clicks when he gets to NJ?

I just see it as a risk free chance to see how he fits and plays into the lineup. If he does well - plays well with Gusev, Hughes and company, then it can be viewed as a free tryout and we can try to resign him for cheap - knowing that the market for him and his asking price wont be there most likely.
