If Johansson is that good, the leafs should hold on to him

I don't think CALGARY picks up the phone. Johnsson is probably worth one of those pieces and a tad more, not all three and they retain salary? and a condition on the pick to boot? Wow, how generous. Either Johnsson is awesome or I am missing something

Today I learned Johnsson is good enough to replace either of Gaudreau or Tkachuk in the 1/2 LW position

Even as a pure rental on Hamonic, I don't think there's any question here. Leafs will make that deal.

Enough has been said about the Johnsson deal - idk that the Wings deal gets done either. If it's offered, Dubas should take it though if he can clear cap space to upgrade the right side. It really looks like upgrading the D in this market is going to be very difficult.

So to start Calgary has no to little use for yet another left shot winger, they have been very very clear that they are targeting Right shot scoring forwards - Johnsson is not that.

The Leafs have forwards in the minors as good as Bennett or Jankowski. If one of these rumours went through I would hope the Leafs try to flip Bennett or Jankowski...
