selling low on coleman I think - bjugstad can't stay healthy and coleman is the perfect swiss-army knife for the playoffs. Teams will pay a 2nd for that and maybe even another pick or prospect

What do you think it would cost for Carolina to acquire Simmonds?
I'd think a 2nd and 4th, but honestly not too sure.

Why would you get rid of your Captain and career Devil. He will resign for 2 million or less and mentor your young defence for 2 years then retire.

I don't like the idea of trading Greene, but In my mind Greene has earned the right to do whatever he wants. If he wants to stay and play his whole career as a Devil; fantastic, but if he wants 1 more shot at a cup and some playoff team wants him ( even if the Devils have to retain salary) I cannot really be too upset if the Devils trade him.

Give him a chance to win, hes a Lou guy and will probably waive. Coould pick him up for league min next yr if interestd. I'd like to ask for Bobo Carpenter in that ask.

Coleman is staying. But I suggest Simmonds (retained) for Gally with Pitt

Oh no doubt, but simmonds is a better PO player, has a pair whereas AG less of a pair!
Pitt not resigning either one, I believe its a playoff push move.

Always wonder if some guys wanna win more than being in elite company of only playing for one team. I'm 33 but am rather old school. i Love when guys stick it out with one team for their career. But i understand wanting to win as well.

Agree, it's just he may not get another opportunity and with Lams it's almost ok, right?
