Ha, what basement are you living in?, and I’m pretty sure you’re right about Joseph. 1goal and 7 assists, -2 in 30+ games in the Ahl. Why trade for a guy who’s killing it and manages to be a +3 on a garbage team.

He's killing it? Do the cops know? Odd that he is killing it as he is EXTREMELY good at avoiding physical contact... exactly what you want from your defense...

He is also the only D on the Ducks that gets PP time, which he won't get in Pittsburgh. A 3rd of his points come from the PP as well, which again... not in Pittsburgh.

Fowler is fine for what he is... but I am not sure about giving a 35 point, non-physical, meh-positionaly D-man $6.5M for the next 7 years (after giving up a 1st and a prospect to get him in the first place).

So you’re upset that an offensive defenseman isn’t hitting.... ok. It’s a fair point, I don’t think he needs to, but he would get pp time, second unit, he is a good player on a bad team, so I’d expect his production to increase, giving pick AND prospect is the cost of getting rid of Johnson’s contract, is he worth 6.5 for that long? Anyone’s guess, maybe not. Also, I don’t value Joseph that high, and he’s certainly not a factor until after Sid and geno window is shut.
