You are basically saying that you can get Tatar+ for Hagelin, Panik, 1st (high 20's). Adding the 3rd team is a nice distraction, but this is still a "I started with a paperclip and ended with a telescope!" flea market job.

Thompson should get a 4th and Kovalchuck should get at least a 3rd. Nordström is a pending UFA, and holds little to no value for the Habs this season (other than to trade again or to temporarily fill a spot).
If you unwind the pieces Thompson plus Kovalchuk gets that 2nd, Tatar gets the 1st and 3rd - if anything add another 6 or 7th to Montreal for taking on Nordström's contract to make room on Boston's roster for their pieces.

Not saying it’s unfair, but boston has no interest in those players.
