If that Wild trade were to happen, I'd put Jordan Staal on the wing over Eric. Vigneault trying to play Eric on the wing when the Rangers traded for him went poorly and was what allowed for the Wild to sign him for relatively cheap. He then re-signed at a similar price tag to stay in MN after that first deal. He's still playing at a 60 pt pace and is a low end 1C, high end 2C.
