No need to resign Beaulieu imo, Poolman has been better than him and also Samberg could probably play there too.

I like the look of this team. Finally a 3rd like that is a scoring threat.

As for the MIN trade, it’s tough to gauge value as they probably want more quality than quantity. I think it’s a good package of you swap the 1st to 2021 and make the condition to a 2022 1st. There’s no chance they move their 2020 1st as it looks like it’s going to be a lottery pick.

For the MTL trade, their fans will always say no to a Danault trade as he’s their golden boy. But I think you gave fair value.

He's looking more and more like a bust everyday, the AHL is a different league but even considering that he isn't exactly lighting it up with the Moose.

The 3rd line has been killing this team for years, all the better years of this team the production from the defense made up for it but imagine if they'd had an actual productive 3rd line in those years, it might of been the difference.

which is why I included him. Winnipeg didn't want to trade him for Stone last year

I heard it was Roslovic that the Sens wanted and the Jets didn't want to part with him, I think the Sens did well getting Brannstrom, far better then a late 1st round pick.

I still think had Winnipeg did a sign and trade for Stone, theyd probably have a cup now. The guy literally can elevate an entire line

I think he went where he wanted to, Stone wanted to go to Vegas, I really think there was little chance he was signing with the Jets.

Why would he not sign with a contender in his hometown?

Idk, maybe the fishbowl part of it, I think Vegas was where he wanted to be the whole time.
Maybe it would've been worth it to acquire him as a rental but that room was (and possibly might still might be) a train wreck at that point, I doubt even Stone was saving that team.

Any objective Jets fan has to question the GM at this point, he's been on a downward spiral for awhile.

They have pieces they just need a 2C and a solid 2 way RHD. Cirelli and Pesce would be perfect for this team.

Yeah but what do those guys cost to acquire and if it's an Ehlers for example then he needs to be replaced, they're in a hole now and there's no easy way out which is why I think it's time to trade Wheeler.

Yeah if u can get a good 2 way D man for Wheeler, then tank this year and take Lundell, Perfetti, Quinn this year. ANd hopefully Vesalainen rebounds, this team could look sick
