I think Riikola will take this deal for 2 years since now we can guarantee him a spot in the top 6 with JJ traded.

Jarry takes a 2 year deal to see how he performs compared to Murray in those 2 years. If he plays well next season as well and out performs murray you can open murray to the expansion draft. If Muzz isnt taken in the expansion draft, then we can decide between the two and make a trade that will help us improve. Both are great goalies and would be confident with either one in net. Muzz def deserves a bit of a raise but paying goalies more than 5M is a recipe for disaster.

I signed granlund to lower than what he is probably worth but i gave him 6 years. Most teams would rather go a bit higher AAV and lower term looking at how he has underperformed this season and risking anything long term but i think granlund would do very well with Pens so i am okay to invest in him long term.

Zucker trade may be a bit off in terms of value. Bjorkqvist is a B level prospect, Simon can be very useful in a top 9 role (great possession player) and Bjugstad is a to be UFA and could work well as a 3C (was also playing great possession wise with simon). Let me know if something needs to be added MIN fans. EDIT: I added Hallander instead of Bjorkqvist, lmk which one is better.

DET has a bunch of cap space opening up and i think for Miletic (AHL allstar) and a 3rd they should be able to take 2 years of JJ. He can do good enough in a bottom pairing role or even on a 2nd pair depending on who he plays with. He should be done his contract by the time DET gets going again. Let me know if theres something else you may want DET fans.

Addison is the schultz replacement, a pure offensive defensmen that can do well with the right D partner. Pettersson Schultz was a very good pairing that i think can work with Addison too. Marino and Riikola on the 3rd (more like two 2nd pairings tbh) would make our defense solid.

Now of course I know something like this is highly unlikely cuz of so many different factors involved in trading and the league, but this is what I would like to see as a roster heading into next season.
