Lavoie is one of Edmonton's top forward prospects, they aren't trading him for a 35-year-old.

Minnesota could use a young goalie in the system. Also, I thought Carolina had another guy in the system that’s good (although I forget his name)

Not trading Ned, not because he’s off limits but just because it doesn’t make any sense. Goalie is the only position without organizational depth for the Canes. The guy you’re thinking of is In the KHL and probably 5 years from coming to NA.

No question. But Holland is trying to build a dynasty, he'd like short-term success but not at the expense of the long-term goal, which is to be a perennial contender.

There is no way you get that for Dumba. I don't see why the Flyers would consider moving Myers straight up for him.

I think you're getting too much back in some of these cases. Staal and Brodin are close. At most, this is what I think we could get.

Zucker = two prospects and a 1st
Dumba = prospect/low NHLer and a 1st
Foligno = prospect and a 1st
