I feel like Manson is more overvalued than Kase, Most ducks fans just dont want to sell low on Kase

Manson’s definitely someone I’m gonna add. Only thing with Kase is is I’ve tried to trade for him multiple times with multiple teams and Ducks fans are never satisfied

I think that Ducks fans have gotten away from overvaluing him (he definitely was at a point) I know I wouldn't really be satisfied with any trade for him now at his current value, but I get its at an all time low

As a Leafs fan, you should probably add Jeremy Bracco to that list.

Yes, especially myself... he rly hasn’t been great in Bridgeport this year, struggled in college last year and had no points in his call up (although his first couple games he looked good.) I still love him, but I feel like our fanbase thinks of him as untouchable, when he really shouldn’t be

Trade wise I’m not too sure of what Hawks could go up there, maaaaaybe Lehner but I understand that, I love the guy

I wouldn't have kappy on there. A couple of overrated guys I see all the time are Brandon Montour, kovalchuk, galchenyuk and burns

I dont think galchenyuk is that good but that's just me. I see sabers fans proposing to lock him up long term but he isnt good at all. You could just put sabers fans on the team because every player they have baby jesus 2.0

His underlying metrics were really strong at the NHL level (he was demoted to the 4th line because barry trotz doesn’t trust young players) so that’s encouraging IMO. I’m still really high on him, bellows not so much despite him lighting it up in BPT over the last few months.

some fans think wahlstrom is going to be this 40+ goal scorer , I’m not that high on him, but I’m fairly confident he’ll be a 25-30 G scorer in a few years.

I think in both cases we have a problem with the term "overvalue."

Guys who think Risto Ristolainen is worth a first-round pick and a top-6 forward are overvaluing their player.

Ducks fans have particular reasons for rejecting trades involving Kase and Manson, and only the latter has an element of "over-valuing."

Ducks fans want to get the equivalent of a Kase who will play the rest of his career with only minimal game loss due to injury. That would be a pretty nice price. The problem, of course, is that he has an injury history which makes it risky for other teams to offer his full worth. In short, Anaheim guys want the value of an 80-game Kase; guys trading for him (reasonably) want a discount for health.

Similarly, Ducks fans want a high price for Manson because we have no one else to play RhD other than Erik Gudbranson. But it makes little sense for an acquiring team to try to improve the right side of its own defense while sending back someone to replace him. And then there's the true element of overvaluing where he's concerned: Manson had one good year two seasons ago and doesn't look anything like that player now. In particular, if you'd watch him every game, you'd be appalled by the quality of the giveaways he commits on a regular and multiple basis. The first goal last night was just the latest example.
