Hey Hanson493. This takes place before his NMC clause. Beantown is a great hockey town with huge tradition. With their forwards he and Krieds are in the running for the prize. I felt both sides got. NYC to Boston is almost a commute these days so he will be close to his honey...much better than the Peg!

Strome has found his game and will be a great 2 or 3 for them. Yeah, I do think trade is equal for a very good goalie and centerman.

@Agree with you. Wanted a deal to help both. McAvoy not in the realm of possibility for me. I want Carlo for his game which the Rangers don't have and Beech and the #1. I think Kreids and Trouba might put B town over which I would like even though a Ranger fan.

when using the @ function it should be like this: @idesofmarch . but use another persons username instead of yours... quoting and tagging are essentially the same concept. that being said, Bruins dont have the cap to do this deal, im not sure trouba makes sense at 8m when they have mcavoy which is why it probably would never happen, mcavoy shouldnt be a 2nd pair dman and you dont pay 8m to 2nd pair dmen either... if trouba was left shot, ide maybe agree here as he would take charas spot. but thats an expensive top pair in a few years. might handcuff the bruins in other areas. valuewise its okay i just dont see the necessity for trouba.

However, in reality, I think Carlo is better/younger/still RFA/cheaper than Trouba esp. as a shutdown guy with good/deep playoff experience (more than JT). Also, he's poised to be #1 or #2 level D-man for Boston's future. Moreover, at US$8M Trouba becomes the highest paid Bruin (don't think that's a great team-building result w/ Stanley Rings already in the room)!

Kreider is a rental ("strike one") , as a LW he is not addressing the RW need ("strike two") and he adds age to the roster/he's not that good ("strike three")...

Think the Bruins can find other RW's at TDL and/or use the farm (Seny, Stud, Kuhl or Celarik).
