no. Putting aside unwillingness to see Montour in Toronto, the pick does nothing and the Sabres already have a 3c. A trade for Montour would have to make both teams better immediately

Bracco isn't worth that 3rd let alone a 2nd as well.

He was drafted in the second round and has developed well.

I really don't know who Montour would replace in the lineup. All four of the RHD seem rather "bipolar". Highs and lows. And Ceci has been playing OK for a few months now, could be the best of the four.
Kerfoot,,,,has really found his footing lately. He's too valuable as centre/winger to trade unless you're going to have an improvement at RHD.

Nope. He's developing OK as an AHLer. He isn't close to be an NHLer.

He could be an NHLer on a team that needs help with their powerplay. Just happens that Toronto has a lot of forward depth.

He is small and doesn’t have that breakaway speed that makes players most players his size successful. He plays from the outside and avoids the dirty areas on the ice and he isn’t that good defensively which is common for players his size. Bracco was drafted in 2015 and is in his 3rd season in the AHL and he has done well. Last season he finished 2nd in points and has never been called up. With the injuries Toronto has had this season I think his play last season should’ve warranted at least one call up. With his size and avoidance of the dirty areas and his average skating It looks like he will be a bottom 6 player at best.

I think he would have to be in the mid 6 to be effective. I don't see his style of play as a fit for the 4th line.

I can see that if his skating improves or he starts going to the dirty areas.
