Anaheim would take this so fast it would make your head spin. Two “meh,” forwards and Lindholm for mcavoy is robbery. (Yes, Kase and Rakell are both wildly inconsistent players that good teams would certainly not trust as top line players, and while Rakell would be a second liner for boston, filling the black hole at RW, Kase is a question mark at best, nothing at worst) Now we have first round picks and prospects involves too? Puke. Franchise ruiner. The end of Sweeney’s career. Probably Neely too.

A Sabres fan is chirping about a game 7 Stanley cup final? Sniff the playoffs before talking trash. Your fan base would kill for what the bruins consider unacceptable. That goes for both of the teams in that crummy city.

If your gonna move macavoy your gonna gave to naie a separate deal probably to replace him. If you sejd him to the ducks for rakell and pieces then you move pieces to buffalo for RR or miller. Doing it in one deal just seems way to hard.

There is no realistic scenario where moving mcavoy makes sense for the bruins.

There’s no deal that makes them better now, and there’s likely no deal that makes them better in the future.

Ain’t gonna happen. This is all coming from one of the worst reporters in the business throwing a pickle against the wall.

Oh i agree with the uncertainty of krug and chara going into the offseason i think moving macavoy it a bad move. I wont go as far as saying no trade would make sense , someone could lose their mind but thats a long shot

Buffalo has two professional sports teams. The other ones a joke too, and their greatest success is new England’s worst failure.

There is always trades out there for any player that will make sense. He just has a very unhealthy love for all Bruins defenseman. Thinks Mac is more important to them than Pasta. ??‍♂️ Mac/Backes/1st and a couple of pieces we could live with for Trouba/Kreider with an extension on Kreider. Be a tough one to pass up. To say never is close minded. But look who it is.

Everything i said was factual. Not subjective. Factual. Your city is bad at everything except chicken wings.

Well, no. Up until my chicken wing comment i just said that new England’s worst failures would be buffalos greatest success. For example, this was the best season the bills have had in decades. They finished behind the pats in the standings, and went out in the same round. Congrats! This is almost a surreal failure in New England. Bruins aren’t happy with a game 7 loss. When was the last time the Sabres made it that far? Foot in the crease? Awwww, too soon?

Lmao nice touch. Ik we’ve been bad forever. It sucks. I see so much potential in this team but we just can’t find the management to give a damn. So close yet so far.

Tf does that have to do with anything? You’re so butthurt and it’s hilarious.

Oh whoops. When a 21 year old is a teams best player for a run to game 7 of the Stanley cup final, i tend to think it says something about the quality of the player. I guess that’s crazy to look at a player in the playoffs and make judgments as to how good a player they are.

And then when he’s just average the following regular season, what does that say?

Has he taken a step back from that postseason level? Sure. He’s still a 22 year old legit number one d man. How many of those are there? Now how many are doing it for cup contenders?

Ya, he’s not getting traded.

It takes a lot to annoy me, but this “rumor,” has actually done it. One of the worst reporters in hockey, a guy that’s known for just making crap up and hoping something sticks says that a scout texted him, “don’t be surprised if the bruins move mcavoy.” That’s what this has all stemmed from. This is an Eklund level rumor, except it’s so absurd that the guy that started it wouldn’t even take a stand on it. It is, in fact, frustrating that such a high percentage of the hockey world are so damn gullible. James Murphy is not a legit source.

I’m not a fan of either team...
But there’s ZERO CHANCE the Ducks do anything like this

They could sell off those guys separately & get a better return

Quantity does not necessarily equal quality
It’s not Xbox

Uh, ya, so the best player in this trade, like 10 times over, is mcavoy. So you are right, quantity does not necessarily equal quality, which is why boston wouldn’t do this.
