Two pretty reasonable deals. Don’t know if Ennis is viable on the third line but he’s cheaper than Khaira and a 4th isn’t overly steep price to give him a try/get rid of Khaira.

Seems like it might be a lot to give up for Kunin but if he solves our 3C problem with and ELC contract it’s hard not to like what he brings, I’m also not a big believer in Samorukov, but I’m guessing there will be Oiler fans that like him more than I do that are against giving him up plus Jesse to get Kunin who while promising is still a gamble.

Going for Ennis is smart, but I think you might need to offer a bit more for a guy who's on pace for 20 goals this season. Not sure Jujube and a 4th is enough for that kind of cheap depth scorer when the Sens might get more lucrative offers from other teams, and when they have so many AHL prospects with higher ceilings than Khaira.

Why is Khaira constantly getting dumped? Is he just overpaid for what he brings?

Kunin won’t solve your 3C spot, he’s definitely a wing at the NHL level. He does bring a lot to the table, but I don’t see him as more than a 3rd line RW who will add some auxiliary scoring and can fill in on the top 6 when needed.

Interesting perspective on him. I must say I don’t watch a ton of minny games but when I have seen him I like what he brings for a 3rd line. Hasn’t he played a lot of centre this year? Are you just saying that he hasn’t looked great when down the middle?

He’s not playing all that great right now, but has shown good skill and toughness in flashes. I just think packaging him with a pick for a speedier winger with more offence would fit better in our lineup. He might have enough intrigue from some teams to get that type of deal done, compared to other bottom 6 wingers in EDM.

He’s played a little at center, but primarily at RW. Not all Wild fans will agree with me, but I don’t think he has enough creativity/hockey IQ to play in the middle. But, as I said above, he does bring a lot to the table in attitude, effort, grit, and a very good, albeit not super accurate shot - it’s a howitzer he gets off very quickly, but too often off the mark. The best way I can describe him is he is a right-shot version of Jason Zucker with a little less speed, but better in the defensive zone.
