Reports are that Montreal sees no need to trade Tatar or Petry unless the offer is too good to pass up. This offer is not too good to pass up.

Honestly they probably accept this. But imo they need the 2020 first rounder and not the 21st. Maybe take out Honka and replace him with a 2nd rounder as well

I just don't see it. I'm pretty sure the Habs would prefer Dallas's 2020 1st alone over the package suggested. I mean Damiani isn't a must have prospect and Honka isn't exactly the most valuable asset available. He's been offered for a while and no one has been willing to give Dallas what they want. What does that tell you?

I truly feel the Habs will get a better offer from another team to be honest.
