Funny, I was about to say that's not enough. The issue isn't where to trade Tatar, it's whether to trade Tatar. Everyone assumes he'll be traded and Domi will be kept. I think Domi will be moved as soon as the Habs are comfortable that Suzuki's future is at centre. Tatar will then get a Plekanec-type deal to grow old in Montreal, where he's appreciated and happy.

Hallander and 1st is enough for Tatar. Potential 70 pts guy on an average team, he would kill it in pittsburgh and everyone knows it

I mean addison is are best prospect and hallander is like are 3rd best, and a 1st in a deep draft is a lot to give

This is an absurd overpayment. You could put my mom on Crosby's wing and she would produce...why would Pit do this?

Montreal continuing to over value tf out of Tatar. Hes a great player, but tell me this. Would you as a habs fan give up that kind of a price for Tatar??? I dont think so. That kind of return to get us someone much much better than Tatar

I think these are just lame assumptions. Everyone always comes up with the same lame assumption. Oh he'll kill it next to Crosby/Malkin.
I think it's a lot harder to fit in there than people want to admit. There are many a player who couldn't do it.
On top of it look how many wingers are on the Market right now. There are at least 6-8 decent wingers on the market right now. There might be 4 teams buying.
I don't think anyone is going to get there price. At least 1/2 the playoff teams won't go in on a rental/trade.
Of those that do, I'd say 1/2 of them are looking at defense not wing.
I put it at maybe 4 teams making a real move on a winger.
That really drives the market down.

In what world is Tomas Tatar, a player who has never even broke 60 points, worth more than Taylor Hall with Hall's contract 50% retained LMAO

Pittsburgh easily says no.

The Penguins are not going to give up Addison, Hallander, or a first for Tatar. Let alone all three.

A better deal would look something like

Pens 2nd
Bjorkqvist
Miletic

A deal that is as bad as the deal you offered on the other end

Pens trade a first and Poulin and receive Tatar and Suzuki. That is how far off you are.

Addison is a solid defensive prospect. Hallander is on track, but he's a long way from being the breakthrough star you suggest.

Scott Wheeler (The Athletic) says:
"Hallander’s one of those rare players who can play up and down a lineup and adjust his role to his linemates. Need him to drive a third line as its best player and have the puck a lot? He can do that. Need him to play off the puck on a second line where he’s not the most talented player? He can do that. Need an energy guy who can play fast and get in on the forecheck on your fourth line? He’s well-suited for that.

I never suggested once he'll be a breakthrough star. im just saying thats a gross overpayment. Addison and Hallander are two of our best prospects. zero chance we move all that for Tatar

I give constructive criticism when a deal is at least somewhat realistic. you're out to lunch on this one. Remove Addison and Hallander and Pens can throw in a lesser prospect.

I do like Tatar and can’t believe how good bergavin did with that Patches trade. Getting Suzuki and Tatar was a great return. I wish pens could’ve got that for kessel!
