I would assume Columbus, a team with lots of cap space would be more then happy to match an offer under 9M for their best forward

You would assume correct. Their biggest need is also center

Columbus matches easily. If you want PLD be prepared to make him an offer around Matthews/Marner money. 4 1st round picks going to Columbus.
