I had a weird feeling about the Pavs signing

Description

I knew that signing Pavs was a mistake. He plays a physical style of play which Dallas doesn't lack. They already had Perry, Comeau, Cogliano and Benn at forward who could play a physical style, and all for much cheaper than Pavs.

IMO they shouldv'e gone for Haula (and since CAR traded Roy and a late pick for him I think DAL could've traded a B prospect plus maybe a 2020 4th for him. Then, I would've signed Dzingel. Strangely enough, both of them ended up in CAR.

Yeah that signing ruined two teams.... It's not like Dallas is doing poorly but they don't need pavelski at 7 million

He is the real brains behind the operation. The Kase rumours are 100% as a result of his influence.

Tulski did a lot of public work before getting hired on to the canes. He is literally the best if the best of the business

Well he still managed to get Bishop for not even 6 mil per...

Teams would've given him 7 mil per for 6 years,.,

I was happy that they signed Pavelski, but I expected more. He was acquired to be a TOP6 forward that brings leadership and close to 30 goals a year...like he did in SJ. Sadly it doesn't seem to work as we hoped.

Well it depends on what you want to know. A lot of the stats nerds post their stuff to twitter with explanations (highly recommend you follow @ChartingHockey).
Basically adv stats is just regular stats on steroids. They are much better at actually figuring out what is going on than base stats (they are more specific and descriptive).

If you want to know who puts up the most quality shots, xGF is your friend, etc. What do you want to know?

I’ve seen people try on here. Not really an option to me to try for Burns, but Pavs has had an impact on the team. I’d still like to see him with Dellandrea (no not in the AHL). I wonder if he can turn it up a notch come playoffs.
