They are both going to be exempt from the Seattle draft right so you might not want to move them and look at guys like Cole and Johnson to ship off. Idk what they do with that blue line.

I don't see either being included for a rental this year. At least for this year, Sakic is prob pretty content with this team, other than the ill-fitting 3rd line. I could see a move for a Grandlund type, but not for either of those guys.

I could see Timmons go in a Hockey deal (aka a Top-9 F with Term), but I think that Sakic REALLY wants to see what a D core of Makar/Girard/Timmons/Byram can do, esp as guys like Landy, Makar and eventually MacKinnon get paid.
