Kapanen a 2nd and a 3rd for dumba. I would have said this was light but then I looked into dumba’s numbers. They are really bad.

Kerfoot>greenway. I know wild fans are very high on greenway. I just don’t understand why. Kerfoot has the ability to play centre and is a better winger. I don’t see greenway having all that high of a ceiling. No offence to any of my wild fan friends.

I will say that I don’t think that the wild would take this trade. It’s just not all that impactful. I’m sure they may receive better offers. But from a leafs standpoint it doesn’t make sense to give up more.

I’m not claiming to speak for all Wild fans here, but I do think I have my finger on the pulse of most with this: Greenway is an enigma! He is positively dominant one shift, one game, sometimes even one week...then he goes back to being a fairly passive giant. The scary part of trading him is IF...IF he ever delivers consistent grit and attitude and effort...he will be a very, very good player. He will be a 40-55ish point/season guy who will be able to take over 7 game playoff series! When he applies himself, he is an absolute beast that very few NHL defensemen can handle. That’s why most of us Wild fans, while often times very frustrated with him, will only consider trading him for a big return

Sorry, I believe Greenway will progress into a very good power forward. Has good hands and knack around the net. Do not see Bill trading him any time soon.

And yes Dumba's numbers are down, this year. This is why I do not think Billy G trades him as his value is down. Rarely do good GM's trade players when their value has dipped, the trade them when they can get max value. MINNY is o. The cusp of a playoff spot and doubt they sell or even buy big. Probably wait for offseason, unless they get blown away by and offer and This offer is nothing but a breeze.

Dumba’s numbers over the last 3 seasons are horrible. He is not defensively good... at all.

Cuz they are insufferbale and most of their ACGM teams here show they think they can get whatever player they want without paying ant sort of price for them. Like..... any dumba trade is gonna include a 1st round pick. It just is, the guy is a fantastic defenseman with a good contract, youd be kidding yourself if you think kapanen who is a top 9 player and a 2nd/3rd will be enough. Kerfoot doesnt add much other than cap balance.

Kapanen seems to be on the same progression as guentzal. So before he broke out with that 40 goal season I think the value between him then and kappy now is about even. It forsn’t Get you a top 4D by itself but if you add a bit like a pick and a prospect the value is there.

I don’t find my agm’s insufferable at all. Nor do I find many insufferable. The fact that this was done by a wild fan and then he is hounded like a homer leafs fans just goes to show how biased people are on this site.

Bro the first one has a trade asking the devils to retain 4.5mill on subban for 3 more years and has a return of Ceci who adds nothing, Barrie who they cant afford to resign, and Tymashov? a boderline 3rd line or 4th line player? And then Ekholm who is one of the best D in the league for.... Kapanen, Dermott, and a 4th? Why bother trading ekholm for a guy who is not as good as him. Nash has enough depth they dont need Kapanen. The 2nd ACGM has winn trading a 3rd for ceci?? Unbelievable, the nylander and johnsson trades are so bad for the leafs it makes me think it was a troll. The 3rd one is the only one of the three which is whatever. And the guy who made it isnt even a leafs fan hes a pens fan
