I'm not sure any team in this league could win a cup without a #1. Carey is still one of the best 5 tendies in the show.

I agree with the 1st part. No team can win without a true #1, but I Disagree that Price is still a top 5 (or honestly projecting into the future...even top 10) goalie in the league...and he has a $10.5M cap hit for 6 more years.

He had an average of less than 2 goals allowed in the last 30 games last year when it was time to win. Rather, I think the guy is exhausted from putting in so much effort for so little results as a team. He just wants to win and he is able to do it.
