Without getting into the actual values of the players involved, this would be an awfully weird move for the Rags to make, given that they have Trouba, Tony D and Adam Fox already on the right side.

If the Rangers trade Kreider, it's because they still believe they are in their rebuild. Not sure why they would trade their best asset for 34 year old defenseman and a 32 year old forward, regardless of whatever picks may be coming back. And it wouldn't just be a 2nd.

This is what they wrote...I added Skjei as NYR fans seem to be trading him...and the Jets do need a top 4 D.

Rangers would need to buy low on buffy and pearrault using there cap space as a asset, and possibly attempt to flip again, with possibly retained, but this is definitely not that.

Thehockeywriters had their value of a one for one...Byf for Krieder...I added Skjei for Perreault and a 2nd...Cap space is similar with it

They putting rangers as sellers and buyers at the same, kind of intriguing, but doesn’t make a hole lot of sense, unless there’s a serious need for veteran leadership.

This would give Wpg a boost for this year and open up some cap space for this year. I don't see the Rangers doing it but next year we would give Kulikov's money to Hamonic and hopefully find someone with Krieders's money. I would like to do a Finnish Flip- Vesalainen for Puljujarvi

My thoughts...I would try to re-sign Krieder unless he wants too much...

I dont even think Byfuglien has skated yet. This is throwing $hit at the wall to see what sticks. Total clickbait. If NY was taking them on as cap dumps, it would cost WPG a lot more

I wouldn't call them particularly smart fans.

Byfuglien would have to be coming back to be able to trade him but for the Rangers they could use him for next year. If he can play, he can be an impact player. I don't think the welcome mat is out for him in Winnipeg anymore.

When you have to reach just to justify the logic, whether or not the values are right, you can tell not much thought went into it and probably was just fodder for the masses.

Might as well have been Tampa trading Stamkos for Carey Price at this point.... Why? Because two good goalies is better than one. Much wow! Very amaze!!!

Curious who was the Hockeywriter that mentioned it?

.I ...I..... I think I lost a few brain cells reading that.

I legit think there are posters on this site who are more in tune with trade values and what not then some people who are being paid to write blogs. flushed cheeks

Per my trade, if this is what Gorton wants, it improves our team...

Oh yeah i agree. If NYR are happy with that, Wpg needs to take this and run.

Such a complicated trade. Maybe something that involves Buf and Skjei plus whatever.
Rangers would be dumb to trade Kreider in a package like that. From all accounts he's one of the best trade options out there. Bidding war could land you a sweeter package
