First two seem solid, but no way you get that much for Gorgiev, Id say a 2nd and 3rd max

Yea I'm not going to lie, Georgiev isn't as valuable as most would think, but the reports have been all over the place. Some have even said that Gorton is asking for Kapanen as well as a high draft pick.

bracco isn't worth more than a 3rd.

i love the st louis trade. i guess that's a fair return for storme. i'd just prefer to sign him, unless someone is offering a 1st for him. but i was on the bandwagon on trading storme in this past off season, i've changed my mind since.

all realistic trades to me. i don't see how bracco fits into this team going forward but i'll take the picks. rangers got a 2nd and 3rd for a much older cam talbot. georgiev has to be worth at least that even though he hasn't played a ton of games. any team that gets georgiev is going to be happy. future starter, i have no doubts about it.

Rangers turn down all 3....

But your hope is not lost these are quick fixes:

1) Swap Lockwood for Lind
2) Swap Alexandrov for Kostin
3) Swap the 2nd and Bracco for Robertson..

a couple of picks that aren't a 1st is a low risk trade for teams. i don't see anyone giving up a middle six player for him, def not toronto. i keep thinking about detroit needing goaltending. an off season move makes since to me.

We're not the ones determining the value for Georgiev. Other teams value him highly because his underlying numbers are good. He's outperforming his environment and his lateral movement ability is impressive and suited to the direction the game is going. He's definitely a potential starter or at least a guaranteed 1B. Hell, if we weren't likely to re-sign Hank when his current contract ends, we'd keep him. Most people on here aren't into the position enough to know what they're talking about. What's happening now is that we're trying to stretch the market for a mid-season goalie trade from what it's typically been. This is because he's as good as he is, not the other way around. If we had no dice he would have been moved already for something.

But there are a lot of upcoming goalie UFA's this year. So I don't know that there are too many possible landing spots for him.
