This team has the foundation to be decent I just think they need 2 more wingers along with the things you proposed to make them much better. If they were able to go get 2 40ish point wingers through FA or a trade they would look a whole lot better

They have Cozens, whos a right shot, to play RW. Theyll probably look to him and Mittelstadt to fill those holes. Its hard for Buffalo to attract FAs. If Cozens is ready they have their top 6 filled out

Sabres dont need RHD prospects so that wouldnt work, they really need forwards. But its not a bad base

Teasdale have a 10 months recovery so he’ll play next year, Ylonen is a great prospect, makes it fair but personally I really like him. But yes, Domi + Ylonen vs Montour + 2021 1st round pick and we could trade Petry for prospects/picks
