Description
Read the first part for reasoning behind most decisions. The idea is basically to trade any- and everything for whatever first rounders are available. Turn up the rebuild to 200 only to pivot back to competing after the draft - don't waste time with whatever pick you get, along with KK , E.Staal on great money, etc.

I simulated picks 9, 12, 19 and 27th OA. The 12th OA might be generous since Wpg probably doesn't make that trade if they are a lottery team, but if its top 10 protected maybe it's fine? Regardless I'd try to package at least 2 picks together. If Ottawa is picking 5 and 6 as in my simulation, maybe they'd consider swapping 5 or at least 6 for 9 and 12. I'd try this if Raymond/Lundell is slipping, and if not maybe get Holtz on 7/8/9. I'm guessing Lundell could play next year, but in order not to make assumptions I left any potential pick off the roster.

The Wild are stuck in limbo. This is one potential way to try to get out of it.

    Every team says no
Besides EDM, they’re getting a steal, wyd?
You can get more for dumba. That 1st will likely be 22-27
Roslovic has potential but you could get more

Trading away 22/23 year old NHLers isn't really the way to rebuild. It just sets everything back by 3-4 years. It does nothing to solve MN's biggest hole top-6 center, and this is not the draft to get a center from.

Fiala and Greenway are pieces that you build around. Then you trade Dumba to get the same quality guy you just traded away in Greenway, Fiala, and Donato?

You build around Fiala, JEE, Kunin, Greenway, Kaprizov, and maybe Donato. Trade Zucker and one of Dumba/Brodin to get 1sts or the center MN needs.

Using Donato for a goalie is fine, but don't take the cap dump of Staal back too, or include Pateryn in the deal to offset the cap for next season.

So every team besides two? And a Pitt guy told me that trade was a steal...

It wouldn’t make sense to trade greenway.

It depends on the timeline imo. The Wild also have a great deal of potential middle 6 forwards - I'd take my chances on getting proper first liners, that's what they've been missing for I don't know however long they're a low lottery/1st playoff round team

Greenway is very overrated by other fanbases, he's a bottom 6 winger that doesn't properly use his size. Foligno is better, would make more sense to keep Foligno and trade Greenway because he's worth far more.
