Stutzle over Byfield I just cannot agree with but I respect the overall effort put into this. There are players I disagree on highly (Sanderson is 2nd round player. Not a big upside, but good overall player or Mysak (definitely a top-15, max top-20, player)), but I like the overall ranking, my friend!

To me, Byfield isn't the clear cut number 2 like everyone has made him out to be. He's been less than stellar when playing against other high-end talents such as at the world juniors and the top prospects game. meanwhile, other players in those same games looked excellent. Granted Byfield wasn't getting heavy minutes at the juniors, but Stutzle, Holtz, Drysdale, Pytlik, and Mysak all did well with some of them also playing more limited side, and at the top prospects game I had to go looking for if Byfield was playing because he made little to no difference. Meanwhile, Rossi, Quinn, Foerster, and so many others jumped off the pages there.

I dont personally like when guys judge players just based on 10-day tournament or one game. Thats just not good. I personally take WJCs and top prospects game as just a small part of verdict on a player. Byfield when playing for Sudbury which is overall a pretty bad team.. he is best player on the ice all the time and in all situations. He didnt shine at WJCs, he played bottom-6 role and wasnt played heavily like other guys you mentioned that were backbones of their teams except for Drysdale who was excellent in limited role. Top prospects game is just a one game and he couldve had an off day. I dont really consider it an important part of what guy is or isnt. Its one game.

I think Rossi will go in the Top 5
