People overrate Hirose to the point it hurts. He’s not good. Decent skater. Can’t really score. I mean what’s the deal with him. Stop acting like getting a 1 LHD and a solid backup is worth him I mean it’s getting ridiculous.

They also get 2 2nds with one being the 32nd pick. It is like #1 pick. Hirose is ok, nothing special. He showed alot at end of last year but nothing this year.

Also remember Rangers need to shed salary in this deal.

As a Detroit fan I agree 100% with your assessment of Hirose. His success at the end of last season was the right place right time. AA was having a great season and Hirose was able to keep up with him.
