Actually that is something that makes more sense. I doubt TO would move him but it's a much smarter target than either Johnsson or Kapanen.

We all know that stupid people can say stupid things.

In general, the supply of stupidity is spread around pretty evenly.

Thus the percentage of stupid people in the Toronto fan base is probably more or less equivalent to the supply of stupid people in other fan bases.

Your problem is that because Leafs Nation tends to have more supporters on CapFriendly than other fan bases (I can always count on the same half-dozen SoCal fans commenting on Anaheim or Los Angeles posts, and seldom more), you'll get stupid responses from more people when Toronto is involved. That's life. Shrug, roll your eyes and move on.

I once posted a Buffalo team construction disposing of some of their bottom 6 forwards. A guy with whom I had strenuously disagreed on another thread commented with the single word "Garbage." In fact, one week earlier (I'm not exaggerating here) the same guy had posted a Sabres team with 5 of the exact same player-for-midround-draft-pick trades -- and 3 of mine projected the same or better picks. Some people are simply beyond hope.
