Top six forward

Description
Elliotte Friedman said about two months ago that a possible destination for Galchenyuk would be Buffalo. The only way I can see Galchenyuk having any value on any team would be if there is an extension guaranteed. He's a pending UFA who is struggling and his cap hit wouldn't be great for a contending team. I believe that Galchenyuk can get a fresh start in Buffalo and get his opportunity to play more top-six minutes as well as powerplay time. An early second round pick, which is almost a late first round pick, seems like the best value the Penguins can get.

Rakell has a cap hit of under $4M, three years left on his contract, and is on pace for 50+ points this year on an Anaheim team with weak offense. A 20-30 overall first round pick, a stud prospect, and a third should be fair value. Swapping the third round pick with Buffalo's second is also a possibility. A few years back Brayden Schenn had a team friendly contract with a great cap hit and three remaining years. He was traded in return for a late first round pick, and a mid-first round pick that was top ten protected. Rakell should have a similar price.

Rakell would cost more then that. That's what Tatar would fetch and Rakell would get a better return then Tatar

No just no tatar has been an absolute unit this year and last year was solid as well out performing rakell by quite a bit. You dont gauge value on the past come on.

Galchenyuk will probably go more along the Brassard path this summer with a <$1.5Mx1 get it together deal somewhere. (Even though he is technically out scoring and out hitting Zucker /60 this year)

I'm just wondering how much drugs you have to do to think anyone would give Chucky 4.5M x 4 years after this year.
