Idk who samberg is but I’d think a better prospect needs to come unless I’m mistaken; how is he?

Dillon is worth slightly more then a 2nd alone.
Close but not enough for Couture. (Can’t be top 10 protected, maybe top 3-5)

People don’t know Samberg unless you watch NCAA hockey. He’s a 21 LHD prospect that has dominated the NCAA the past 2 years. He could be a top 4 dman next year. I’d say he’s our best prospect besides heinola.

I don’t think that couture is a good option for the jets as he’s already 30 and has 8 years left at 8m. I don’t think it’s a bad package, just would have to add another B prospect imo.

Maybe it’s because I’m also a sharks fan but couture gives us 6 years of a great 2C. His production might suck in the last 2 years but the cap should rise enough where it won’t matter as much.

You’re probably right on that just worried with age and term at that $ amount. I think that the deal is close. Jets need to add another B prospect. Maybe you swap out Samberg for Lundmark and add Vesalainen.

I think it’s good with samberg + 1 small add or vesa swapped in.

As for couture he’s been great in the playoffs for his entire career and his production hasn’t been dog****. He’s maybe not with 8 but I’d rather him then Kevin Hayes. Good deal tho in the end it’s not like it’s a mile off

Couture solves the 2C issues and we can finally stop giving firsts for rentals at the deadline. Laine-Couture-Ehlers would be amazing to watch.
