Lol I was being sarcastic bud. Sticking Out Tongue

Obviously all of this talk of being dinged picks and or fined is solely based on being PROVEN guilty. If they are acquitted by the NHL than obviously nothing will happen. We're speaking hypothetically on them being found guilty of physical testing, etc.

If they are guilty, throw the book at them I say. If they aren't, nothing happens.

They aint paying him anything and hes a pretty respected guy also they talked about it on tsn saying the coyotes did some kind of physical testing but provided no examples or evidence suggesting that

Harsher than I had previously thought but glad it was severe. Can't have teams getting unfair advantages like that but yeah a little surprised it was a 1st AND a 2nd. Adding the 2nd seems like overkill though IMHO. No team will risk losing a 1st for this kind of thing in the future. If the goal was to deter teams from doing this in the future, I think its crystal clear now. Any potential competitive advantage is easily not worth the risk now.

Agreed, harsh but I'm glad they did it.

welp that was a lot worse than I expected surprised they took next years first , every pick in the 2020 draft because thats where the testing benefits the coyotes in 2020 and would have done the trick and now what happens if the coyotes miss the playoff next year god damn thats really going to hurt

Interesting reading this now. Curious what you think since they took both the 2021 first and the 2020 2nd. I found it on google btw.

One of the few things the NHL did i 100% back in the Gary Bettman era.

Preying on kids isnt right and its what is so great about Hockey vs other North American Sports Franchises.
NFL or NBA doesnt do nothing in regards to punishing the teams for doing the exact same things.
These situations lead to situations like Lenny Clarke aka the guy Lebron James replaced as #1 in the draft rankings his draft year out of no where due to Kenny's severe decline.

Money,Ego and a **** show of people lining up with their hands out saw Lenny's off court problems make him a cautionary tale for prospects everywhere.
Lenny Cooke's Documentary like a decade ago really opened my eye's to how teams and organizations target aspiring players.

NHL needed to send a message and they did.
Which in my opinion stands them apart from other Sports League's as they put the Player first ensuring teen's are allowed to develop and mature on and off the field/court/ice .
