I’m not a fan of Kase by any means, but this seems like a really good deal for Boston. Lebrun reported this? Or talks of this?

in mtl, we have similar player to kase and thats lehkonen. these guys don't get the respect they deserve. the little things they do on the ice makes them in valuable. in anahiems case, their fans recognize this. in mtl they didn't until this season, when lehkonen started producing more offensively.

Yeah, I figure with McAvoy and Carlo, and Clifton they could afford to move him in the right deal

Just an article he wrote about deals he thought made sense. A lot of them seemed really skewed in my opinion. Kyrou and a 1st for Kreider which seems like a lot, this one which feels like not enough.

Is he turning into a clickbait guy? This just doesn’t make any sense to me. Steen doesn’t look particularly close to the NHL (at least one full more year in providence), and is already 21. Just doesn’t seem like a fit.

Clifton is a nice piece, but he's a career 3rd pairing guy that'll chip in now and then.

I think we're just in that lull right ahead of when the actual trade talks start. Not really anything more to say about teams as they are currently, and we're still a little ways off from the serious deadline chatter.

He does legitimately have connections, so he might have a better sense of how NHL exec's think, but the trades just felt off imo.

@Bcarlo25 i think his article was more geared towards the buyers and who he could see being a good fit for those teams than the actual return. Which doesn’t make it a well written article imo but like Claesson said maybe he’s got some intel and it’s actually somewhat truthful.

@MDA_47 i thought it said steen and a 3rd was a starting point but he said it was more likely the 3rd would have to be a 2nd to get a deal for kase done. Could be remembering wrong

Bruins win the deal by a lot if it stays, bruins say no if its Axel...
Perhaps a 3rd and zboril, or a 2nd and some lower prospect
