Very true, and you can be very good without being a top pair defender. This site is funny in that most of the people on here will read anything that slightly disagrees with their opinion and all they see is the polar opposite. For example, if I say Manson isn't a top pair defender and isn't worth a pile of assets in a trade, Ducks fans see "Manson sucks, he isn't worth Ceci." Which of course is not at all what I said.
