I don't think that's enough for the best player in the league.

Obviously this is all academic, because buffalo isn’t trading him, but this team winds up with Kuraly on the second line. Bleh.
Three firsts, a extremely good prospect in Vaakainanen, a real good prospect in Lauko, a mediocre prospect in shen, then a kid that scored 27 in 66 games in his second year, a center that had 73 points last season, and a cap dump seems like a bit much to me.

I would agree, but OP isn't talking about McDavid

Sabres counter with:
Okposo, Johanssen, Frolik, Hickey, Ruotsalainen, Oglevie, and 2 1sts for.......Pasta Sauce (he's not a center, hence only 2 1sts).

Kind of a moot point and waste of time.

I feel bad for Eichel, imagine being stuck in Buffalo until 2026...

He wouldn't be though, Bjork slots in well there, and Kuhlman still has some upside to play in the top 9. Kuraly isn't actively bad or anything either for a 4th liner

Never said he was. I think he’s actually a solid 3rd liner

BUF countrers with Bergeron , Debrunsk , Forsbaka-Karlsson , 1st #8 OA in 2020 (presumably) , 1st in 2021 and conditional 1st in 2022 .

Conditonal 1st is converted if BOS wins cup with Eichel before 2022 draft .
