Not sure the Sens have much of an interest in downgrading a goaltending prospect and shipping out a deadline piece just to get a defensive prospect who has looked really meh in the AHL. There's no incentive in that trade. May as well drop Gus and D'Orio, and the picks don't really do much. So then it's Hainsey for PO. Hainsey is still great on the PK so he serves a purpose, but PO looks like a bit of a lost cause.

I like the Dallas trade but can we please stop making Joe Thornton a thing. He isn't coming here and he wouldn't be a good fit. He's old, slow and would not fit the system.
