Lol good one. Kapanen has put up 3 less points this season while playing with weaker linemates. Kessel is playing extremely soft minutes with far better linemates. Kessel is an overall negative player when you look at how bad his defensive impact is, he gives all the offense he brings right back

you just said Kapanen has been better than Kessel for two seasons. Im pretty sure Kapanen didnt put up 82 points last year but eh, Leafs middle six players are all first liners anyway

Don't be so hard on Keller. Just because he's only got 5 more points than Kapanen while getting more minutes and power-play time doesn't mean he's not worth more than Kapanen even up. I'm sure the inclusion of Ekman-Larsson in this deal is just a typo.

Kessel had the same amount of points last year than Kapanen's whole career in 100 less games

If hes giving it all back because of his defensive play then he isn that good hes a net negative at this point
