Kings and Rangers both decline. Don't know enough about Janicke to be sure on the Ducks trade, but my guess is Anaheim would want an additional 2nd or 3rd round draft pick in there.

If we are getting Toffoli and Kreider we don’t need Kase. Keep DeBrusk, Coyle and Bjork as a 3rd line. It is a really good 3rd. Krejci, Toffoli and Kreider would be an amazing 2nd.

I would say first off, you’re just doing too much. The bruins are a really good team, they don’t have to change 25% of their forwards.

I think that’s a pretty sizable overpay with Anaheim. I understand that the bruins have to pay up to move Backes. I think that price is less than a first round pick, and I think there’s a big reason that Kase is being shopped.

I think that’s about right for a retained toffoli.

Fair deal for Kase and Toffoli. Underpay for Kreider.

Its overkill , toffoli on the rw and the only other deal i can imagine is maybe depth on the rd with miller hurt.

Nah bruins decline the kinds deal, Steen and Kuhlman are more than enough to get Kase. (and its been made clear that Backes' deal is the first rounder)

To clarify on why this is right (because it shouldnt go unnoticed):

Bring in one or two of them at most: One to play Krejci's right (or the top line if you wanna put Pasta and Krejci together), and one to play the 3rd line RW with Coyle and Hienen.

Backes will take at most a 1st to move, that has been made clear by the bruins not giving up more for his deal already, but it will also take no less than a 1st (or the bruins would have already found a partner). So Kase for Kuhlman AND Steen is definitely an overpay right now. Perhaps switching Steen out for JFK? and maybe that is still too much

Toffoli deal is right on smile
